Robotics and Machine Autonomy
I think the key to achieving goals for which the solution path may not be obvious is first to establish the appropriate context, second find meaningful simplifying assumptions and finally decompose the overall task into addressable units. Because of the great progress in algorithmic capability as well as breadth of methods available many previously mysterious applications can now be reduced to practice.
The robotic and autonomy projects presented here hopefully demonstrate how my interest in the subject and problem solving discipline (described above) have generated some initial successes.
